Self-amalgamating tape is highly suitable for rigging purposes, as it is more effective in areas exposed to sunlight than conventional PVC tape. It sticks only to itself and shrinks to a waterproof seal as it dries. Once set it does not tear or peel apart. The ultimate in sealing moisture out.
